Ticības objekta problemātika Paula Tilliha darbos

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā tiek analizēta ticības objekta problemātika Paula Tilliha darbos. Atkarībā no tā, kas ir ticības objekts, atklājas ticības dziedinošais, dzīvību apliecinošais vai destruktīvais, nāvi izraisošais spēks. Taču Tilliha darbos atspoguļotajai ticībai raksturīga arī kāda paradoksalitāte. Ticības dziedinošais, dzīvību apliecinošais spēks atklājas tādā ticībā, kurā subjekta un objekta nošķīruma shēma tiek pārvarēta. Tas nozīmē, ka šādai ticībai nav objekta. Šī darba ietvaros tiek analizēts ticības nošķīrums tās pozitīvajā un destruktīvajā potencialitātē, pamatojot šāda nošķīruma iespējamību un iztirzājot ticības pozitīvo un destruktīvo aspektu sekas cilvēka dzīvē.

This thesis explores the problematics surrounding object of faith in the works of Paul Tillich. Depending on the content of said object, it gives rise to the life affirming, healing power of faith, or a destructive force and precursor to death. However, there is also a significant paradox in the works of Tillich. Life-affirming, healing forces become evident in faith where the subject and object distinction is overcome. In this model, it is implied that faith possesses no object. In the context of this thesis, distinctions between the positive and negative potentiality of faith are explored by first establishing the possibility of drawing these distinctions, then analyzing further the polarizing effects of these varieties of faith on one’s life.
