Galvenie jautājumi, kas tiek risināti darbā „Antropocentrisma kritika zemes ētikā un dziļajā ekoloģijā”, ir antropocentriskā pasaules skatījuma ietekme uz ekoloģisko problēmu veidošanos,antropocentriskā skatījuma vēsturiskā izcelsme, antropocentrisma kritika, salīdzinājums ar ekocentrisko skatījumu un iespējamie ekoloģisko problēmu risinājumi vides ētikas kontekstā.
Pētījumā izmantota Linna Vaita piedāvātā antropocentrisma kritika. Tiek apskatīta dabas pašvērtības problēma, pamatojoties uz zemes ētikas teorētiskajām nostādnēm Oldo Leopolda un Bērda Kalikota darbos. Šim nolūkam tiek analizēti arī dziļās ekoloģijas pamatprincipi Ārnes Nesa esejās. Darbā aplūkota pašrealizācijas idejas nozīme dziļajā ekoloģijā. The main questions that are contemplated in bachelor thesis The criticism of
anthropocentrism in the land ethic and deep ecology are as follows: the impact of
anthropocentric world view on the forming of ecological problems, the historical origins of anthropocentric view, the criticism of anthropocentrism, a comparison with ecocentrism and the possible solutions of ecological problems in the context of environmental ethics.
Lynn White’s criticism of anthropocentrism has been used in the research. A contemplation on nature’s intrinsic value has been done, based on the theoretical fundaments of land ethic in Aldo Leopold’s and Baird Callicott’s works. For this very purpose an analysis of the basic principles of deep ecology in Arne Næss’ works and the meaning of self-realization in deep ecology is included.
