The subject of Bachelor thesis is the compatibility between the 1st class levelling network fixed point heights and the heights gained by GPS measurement methods using LatPOS. The research was carried out in Riga City by inspecting the network and doing measurements to 60 selected levelling points. The measurements were carried out with the GPS surveying methods using LV’14 quasi-geoid model and geometrical levelling method. As a result the heights of the network in Latvias normal height system were obtained and compared with 1st class levelling network fixed point heights.
The research lets to derive conclusions about the compatibility between the LV’14 quasi-geoid model and Latvias normal height system LAS2000,5 and also about the accuracy of GPS measurements depending on measurement methods. Two different methods were used in the GPS survey and control measurements were carried out to evaluate the stability of GPS measurements in LatPOS system.
