Bakalaura darbs „Smarža kā komunikācijas līdzeklis” ir veltīts smaržu uztveres jautājumiem un īpaši komunikācijai ar smaržu palīdzību. Šobrīd šī tēma ir viena no jaunākajām mūsdienu zinātnē, bet pasaules literatūrā jau no seniem laikiem tā spēlēja nozīmīgu lomu. Darba mērķis ir parādīt smaržu kā komunikācijas līdzekli, izpētīt tās ietekmi uz cilvēka organismu un klasificēt komunikācijas ar smaržas palīdzību veidus. Bakalaura darbs balstās uz nozīmīgiem literāriem darbiem, tādu autoru kā Patriks Zīskinds, Frīdrihs Nīče, Joris-Karl Huysmans, Oskars Vailds , Tomass Manns .
Bakalaura darbs sniedz pārskatu par unikālām smaržas īpašībām, kā no zinātniska viedokļa, tā arī no sociālās perspektīvas. The following bachelor work "The smell as a means of communication" is devoted to issues of olfactory perception, and in particular communication by means of a smell. At the moment, this topic is one of the newest in modern science, however in the world literature it plays an important role for a long time. The main aim of this work is to demonstrate the smell as a means of communication, to show its impact on a human body and mind, and to show the different types of olfactory communication. Bachelor work is based on an analysis of significant works of famous authors such as: Patrick Suskind, Friedrich Nietzsche, Joris-Karl Huysmans, Oscar Wilde, Thomas Mann.
Bachelor work gives an overview of unique functions of smell, both from the scientific point of view and from a social perspective.
