Ģermānismu integrācija un funkcijas latviešu valodā. Ģermānismu analīze Rūdolfa Blaumaņa lugā “Skroderdienas Silmačos”

Abstract

Maģistra darbā „Ģermānismu integrācija un funkcijas latviešu valodā“ aplūkota valodas aizguvumu tematika. Šajā gadījumā tie ir aizguvumi no vācu valodas jeb ģermānismi, kuru loma, funkcijas un integrācija latviešu valodā analizēta, balstoties uz slaveno Rūdolfa Blaumaņa lugu „Skroderdienas Silmačos“, jo tajā īpaši izmantota vāciskās cilmes leksika. Darba mērķis ir tuvāk izpētīt vācu valodas ietekmi uz latviešu valodu; izmantojot dažādotas pieejas, noskaidrot, kāda ir ģermānismu loma latviešu valodā un vai latviešu valodas lietotājiem ir zināšanas par tiem. Pētījuma rezultātā ir izveidots ģermānismu glosārijs, kurā iekļautas vairāk nekā 100 no vācu valodas aizgūtās leksiskās vienības, kā arī to izcelsmes, nozīmes un atvasinājumi. Maģistra darba pētījumā izmantotas dažādas kvalitatīvās pētniecības metodes: deskriptīvās, salīdzinošās, diahroniskās un sinhroniskās. Gan teorētisko, gan empīrisko pētījumu rezultāti liecina, ka ģermānismi savu lomu mūsdienu latviešu valodā nav zaudējuši, jo vairums vārdu ir seni aizguvumi, kas latviešu valodā jau integrējušies un tiek plaši lietoti un atvasināti, paužot stilistisko ekspresiju.

In the Master Thesis “Integration and Functions of Germanisms in the Latvian Language” the subject matter of language borrowings has been discussed. In this case they are loan words from German or Germanisms, which role, functions and integration are analysed on the basis of the lexicon with German origin used in the famous Latvian play “Skroderdienas Silmačos” by Rūdolfs Blaumanis. The goal of the research is to explore closer the influence of German into Latvian; by the use of various approaches to establish the role of Germanisms in Latvian and whether users of the Latvian language have knowledge of them. As the research result the glossary of germanisms containing more than 100 from German borrowed lexical items, as well as their origin, meanings and derivations have been compiled. In the Master Thesis research different qualitative research methods have been used: descriptive, comparative, diachronic and synchronic methods. Results of both theoretical and empirical studies show that Germanisms have not lost their role in the Latvian language, because majority of them are ancient borrowings, which have already been integrated in contemporary Latvian and are widely used and derivated by conveying stylistic expression.
