Šī bakalaura darba tēma ir „Klasiskie retorikas līdzekļi iedarbīgā mūsdienu publiskā runā”. Veicot šo pētījumu, darba autore, pirmkārt, vēlas noskaidrot, vai tie retoriskie līdzekļi, kurus atklājuši tādi antīkie retorikas pētnieki kā Aristotelis, Cicerons un Kvintiliāns, joprojām ir aktuāli mūsdienās un, otrkārt, pievērst uzmanību šo instrumentu lietojuma biežumam pārliecinošā mūsdienu publiskā runā. Izmantotās pētījuma metodes ir apkopojoša analīze teorētiskajā daļā un diskursa kvalitatīva analīze empīriskajā daļā. Pētījuma rezultāti parāda, ka klasiskie retorikas līdzekļi joprojām ir piemērojami mūsdienu runām, un, lai pārliecinātu klausītājus, tie tiek bieži pielietoti mūsdienās. The topic of the Bachelor Thesis is ‘Classical Rhetorical Instruments in Modern Public Speaking’. In this research the author, first of all, wants to find out, whether the rhetorical instruments discovered and suggested by the ancient rhetoricians as Aristotle, Cicero, and Quintilian are still relevant in the modern world and, secondly, to draw attention to the frequency of the usage of classical rhetorical instruments in persuasive contemporary public speaking. The research methods used in this paper are summative analysis in the theoretical part and discourse qualitative analysis in the empirical part. The research results show that the classical rhetorical instruments, indeed, can be applied to the contemporary public speaking and they are a commonly used tool in nowadays speeches in order to persuade the audience.
