Iekšējo un ārējo faktoru ietekme uz Ziemeļvalstu sadarbību drošības un aizsardzības jomā

Abstract

Izmaiņas starptautiskajā sistēmā un, proti, Krievijas iebrukums Gruzijā 2008. gadā un Krievijas militāro spēku modernizācijas process rosināja plašas diskusijas Eiropā par nepieciešamību aktualizēt pārrobežu sadarbību drošības un aizsardzības jomā sub-reģionālā līmenī. Saskaņā ar neoklasiskā reālisma skolu, ārējie faktori un, proti, sistēmas spiediens spēlē būtisku lomu valsts ārpolitikas attīstībā, taču šie lēmumi par ārpolitikas virzību nav skatāmi atrauti no valstī pastāvošajiem iekšējiem faktoriem. Maģistra darba „Iekšējo un ārējo faktoru ietekme uz Ziemeļvalstu sadarbību drošības un aizsardzības jomā” galvenais izpētes mērķis ir noskaidrot, to, vai reģionālas sadarbības aktualizēšana Ziemeļvalstīs ir sistēmas spiediena rezultāts.

The changes in the international system, namely Russia’s invasion in Georgia in 2008 and the modernization process of Russian military forces has prompted a broader discussions in Europe on the need to raise a cross-border regional cooperation in the field of defence. According to neoclassical realism IR theory, external factors, namely, the system pressure plays a significant role in the development of foreign policy, however on should not stress out the importance of the domestic factors. The main aim of Master thesis “The impact of internal and external factors on the cooperation of Nordic countries in the field of security and defence” is to determine whether the Nordic cooperation in the field of defence after 2009 is mainly influenced by the system pressures emerging from Russia.
