Pacientu vidējais vecums bija 27 gadi (no 21 - 37 g.).
54% no SMILE pacientiem būtu rekomendējama HISMILE operācija.
Atslēgas vārdi: sfēriskās aberācijas, refraktīvā ķirurģija, SMILE, HISMILE. Diploma work is written in Latvian, on 62 pages. It contains 40 figures, 3 tables, 3 appendixes and 63 references to literature sources.
Aim: to analyze induced spherical aberrations before and after the SMILE operation and to make recommendations based on the results.
Methods: a total of 31 patients (61 eyes) were studied, with an average preoperative SE of -4,5 D (ranging from - 2,25 to -8,75 D). The average age was 27 years (ranging from 21 to 37).
Results: induced spherical aberration amount after SMILE operation with 6mm pupils had a mean of 0,113 ± 0,09 μm, but with 4,5 mm pupils 0,0336 ± 0,05 μm.
Conclusions: the induced spherical aberration increase after the SMILE operation is consistent with that described in literature. 54% of SMILE patients should be recommended the HISMILE operation.
