Stresa izraisītie atmiņas bojājumi ir iemesls jaunu zāļu vielu meklējumiem, kas spētu aizkavēt smadzeņu bojājumus.
Mūsu pētījuma mērķis bija noteikt jauna Latvijas Organiskās sintēzes institūtā sintezētās zāļu vielas AV-6-93, kas sastāv no dihidropiridīna un adamantāna atvasinājumiem, ietekmi uz neirotrofā faktora BDNF ekspresiju imobilizācijas stresētām žurkām hipokampā ar Western blota metodi.
Petījuma rezultāti rāda, ka imobilizācijas stress ir palielinājis BDNF ekspresiju žurku hipokampā salīdzinājumā ar kontroles hipokampa žurkām, un AV-6-93 piemīt spēja normalizēt BDNF ekspresiju stresēto žurku hipokampā. Mūsu dati rāda, ka nepieciešams turpināt pētīt šī savienojuma molekulāros mehānismus, lai noskaidrotu tā neiroprotektīvās īpašības. The growing prevalence of stress related memory impairments continues to be the main impetus behind the search for new drugs.
The aim of this work was to ascertain the new Latvian Institute of Organic Synthesis dihydropyridine derivative AV-6-93 effect on the expression of the brain neurotrophic factor (BDNF) in immobilization stress-induced rat hippocampus with Western blot method.
The study results show that immobilization stress has increased BDNF expression in rats hippocampus compared to control rats, and AV-6-93 has the ability to normalize BDNF expression in stress-induced rat hippocampus. Our findings indicate that it would be necessary to further explore the molecular mechanisms of this compound in order to determine its neuroprotective properties.
