Ķīmijterapijas inducēta alopēcija onkoloģijas pacientiem

Abstract

Ķīmijterapijas inducēta matu izkrišana (alopēcija) - ĶIA ir viena no biežākajām blaknēm onkoloģijas pacientiem. Darba autore uzskata, ka ir nepieciešams izvērtēt alopēcijas problēmu un aktualitāti pacientiem, kas saņem ķīmijterapiju. Šāds pētījums Latvijā līdz šim nav veikts. Darba mērķis ir izanalizēt ķīmijterapijas inducēto alopēciju onkoloģijas pacientiem, tās izplatību, riska faktorus un profilakses pasākumus. Izstrādāt praktiskās rekomendācijas pacientiem dzīves kvalitātes uzlabošanai.

Chemotherapy-induced hair loss (alopecia) – CIA –is one of the most frequent adverse reactions to oncology patients. Authot of the diploma work considers that it is neccessary to evaluate the problem and urgency of alopecia for the patients which are receiving chemotherapy.Such a study has not been made in Latvia so far. The aim of the diploma wok is to analyse chemotherapy-induced alopecia to oncology patients, prevalence of alopecia, factors of risk and preventive measures, as well as to work out practical recommendations to improve the quality of life for patients.
