Daži no insulta pacientiem cieš no dažādu veidu afāzijas.

A stroke caused by a number of serious disorders that affect the patient's quality of life: problems with concentration, logical thinking and memory, gait abnormality. Some of stroke patients suffering from different types of aphasia. Stroke patients often suffer not only physical, but also mental consequences, about one-third of stroke patients experiencing severe depression. Sisters might potentially play an important role in the rehabilitation of patients after stroke. Although rehabilitation continues to focus primarily on physical function recovery suggests that this interpretation is inadequate rehabilitation, holistic care is the process by which patients are treated, not only because of the physical symptoms of a disease or condition, but also taking into account the mental, emotional, social, cultural , relationships and environmental context. A theoretical and practical studies led to the conclusion that a single comprehensive holistic approach reduces stroke patient anxiety and depressive symptoms, with emphasis on the psychological well-being.
