Tabu leksikas tulkošana politiskajā diskursā: Ukrainas konflikta piemērs

Abstract

Maģistra darba mērķis ir parādīt politiskā diskursa tabu leksikas tulkošanas problēmas, kuras ietekmētu tulkošanas rezultātu kvalitāti, izvērtēt šo jēdzienu dažādo izpratni un to interpretēšanas nozīmi publiskā viedokļa veidošanā. Darbā veikta politiskā diskursa tabu teorijas analīze, izvērtēta tulkotāja loma, izvēlēti četri interneta plašsaziņas laikraksti, kuros Ukrainas notikumu kontekstā tika pētīti politiskā diskursa tabu jēdzieni, izveidota Ukrainas konflikta tabu jēdzienu vārdnīca. Autore konstatēja, ka politiskajā diskursā notiek manipulācijas ar tabu tēmām, kā rezultātā rodas dažādas šo jēdzienu izpratnes, kas apgrūtina tulkotāja darbu. Autore pārliecinājās, ka svarīgu lomu tulkošanas procesā ieņem atbilstošās valsts politiskā iekārta. Atslēgvārdi: politiskais diskurss, tabu leksika, tulkošanas problēmas, Ukrainas konflikts.

This Master’s thesis aims to study tabu problems in political discourse, which could affect the quality of translation, evaluate the different understanding and interpretation of this concept and its importance in the formation of public opinion. In the thesis, both a study of the theory of political discourse taboo is carried out and the role of translator is evaluated. The author has chosen four Internet newspapers in which the situation in Ukraine were studied in the context of political discourse taboo vocabulary. The author of this thesis has made a Taboo Vocabulary of Ukrainian Conflict. During development of the thesis, the author has come to the conclusion – in political discourse had been made manipulatios with taboo issues. As a result there are differet understandings of these concepts, which complicates the work of the translator. The author had found that an important role in the process of translation occupies a corresponding national political system.
