Abstract

Promocijas darbā Autobiogrāfiskuma žanriskās formas Latvijas un Somijas sieviešu prozā 20. gadsimtā tiek pētīti latviešu un somu sieviešu autobiogrāfiskie un pusautobiogrāfiskie teksti Tie veido Baltijas jūras reģiona literatūras daļu un pētīti sastatāmi-vēsturiskajā perspektīvā lietojot transnacionālās un postkoloniālās pētījumu metodoloģijas. Disertācijā tiek teoretizēts jautājums par autobiogrāfiskuma izpausmēm modernitātes kontekstā un tā dažādas izpausmes Latvijas un Somijas sieviešu tekstos. Vēl vienu pētniecisko interesi sastāda jautājums par autobiogrāfiskuma un to formu mijiedarbību ar dzimti, etnicitāti, sociālo izcelsmi transnacionālajā un reģionālajā perspektīvā.. Žanra un žanrisko formu kontekstuālajā pētniecībā īpaša uzmanība ir pievērsta tādiem konceptiem kā sieviešu apziņa, subjektivitāte, identitāte, atmiņu telpas un atmiņa, paaudžu kontinuitāte, subjekts un subjekta audzināšana. Disertācijas analītisko korpusu veido 116 teksti, 12 darbos ir pētīta diskursīvā, , vēsturiskā, politiskā un dzimtes politikas nozīme un izcelsme. The doctoral thesis “Autobiographicity and its Genre Forms in Women’s Prose of Latvia and Finland in the 20th Century” presents the results of the research on Latvian and Finnish women's autobiographical and semi-autobiographical texts. These texts, as part of the Baltic Sea region literature, are studied from a historico-comparative perspective within the frameworks of transnational and postcolonial research methodologies. Based on the theoretizations of the concept of autobiographicity, the doctoral thesis comparatively investigates its various manifestations and transformations in the history of women's memory writing in Latvia and Finland. The research also addresses the intersection of autobiographicity with such historical and cultural variables as gender, ethnicity, and social group in women’s texts as framed by transnational and regional trajectories. Comparative research on autobiographicity and the narrative ways in which it structures genre forms` of women’s autobiographical and memory writing is also informed by the postmodern discourses on subjectivity and gender, memory and subject formation. The analytical corpus of the thesis consists of 116 women’s works, and the argument is substantiated through analyses and close readings of 12 texts.
