Abstract

Darba mērķis ir, k ompleksi analizē jo t būtiskākos nacionālo minoritāšu tiesību aspektus , apzin ā t nacionālo minoritāšu tiesību vietu starptautisko tiesību sistēmā vēsturiskās attīstības kontekstā , atklāt nacionālo minoritāšu tiesību institūta būtību un saturu, izvērtēt nacionālo minoritāšu tiesību piemērošanu pasaulē, Eiropā un Latvijā. Darb ā , balstoties uz pirmajā nodaļā i zklāstīto nacionālo minoritāšu t iesību vēsturiskās attīstīb as kontekstu un otrajā nodaļā ietverto teorētisko analīzi par na cionālo minoritāšu tiesību tvērum u un robežām , trešajā un ceturtajā nodaļā izvērtēt a nacionālo minoritāšu tiesību piemēro šana Eiropas Savienības valstīs, tostarp Latvijā, veidojot sinhronu satvaru nodaļ u izklāsta m kārtībā, kas saglabā iespēju izsekot nacio nālo minoritāšu tiesību aspektiem subjekta, tiesību un robežu griezumā teorijā un praksē. The title of th e Doctoral thesis is „ The Protection of National Minorities at the Global Level, in Europe and in Latvia ”. The purpose of the paper is in a complex manner to research and analyze the most significant aspect of national minorities and the problems and issues related thereto, comprehending the place of national minority rights in the international rights system in the context of historic development and gaining understanding of application of the rights, comparing application of nati onal minority rights in member states of the European Union, including every aspect, which has relevance in investigation of this institute of rights, thus providing contribution in understanding of national minority rights, which is based on the correlati ons of the key elements of the comprehensively researched volume of rights of the .
