Filmu izmantošana kā motivācijas veicinātājs vācu valodas kā otrās svešvalodas stundās skolēniem ar priekšzināšanām

Abstract

Diplomdarbā pētīts jautājums, cik efektīva un motivējoša ir filmu skatīšanās mācību stundu laikā, lai apgūtu svešvalodu un iegūtu informāciju par apkārtējo pasauli. Tēma tika izvēlēta, jo neskatoties uz to, ka daudzi skolēni izvēlas vācu valodu kā otro svešvalodu, viņiem joprojām trūkst motivācijas darbam. Šī darba mērķis ir izpētīt, kā filma ietekmē skolēnu mācību motivāciju, vācu valodas kā svešvalodas stundās. Teorētiskajā daļā aplūkoti mediju didaktikas jautājumi un izpētīts, cik efektīvi mediji tiek lietoti skolēnu mācību un attīstības, kā arī mācību motivācijas un tās paaugstināšanas procesā. Filmu izmantošana vācu valodas kā svešvalodas stundās veicina iekšējo mācību motivāciju, kā arī ir noderīgs informācijas avots, kas attīsta skolēnu kritisko domāšanu. Pedagoģiskā izmēģinājuma darbā, tika secināts, ka filmu skatīšanās mācību procesu padara daudzveidīgāku un dinamiskāku, skolēni kļūst aktīvāki, labprātāk piedalās mācību procesā un skolēnu mācību motivācija padziļinās. Throughout the Diploma paper the question on effectiveness of watching movies during foreign language lessons to acquire the language and obtain the information on different aspects about the world is researched. The topic is chosen as learners still lack motivation to learn German despite the fact that they choose the subject on a voluntary basis. The aim of the Diploma paper is to find out how the movie promotes learning motivation in German lessons. In the theoretical part of the Diploma paper the fundamental questions of didactics of media are analysed as well as the effectiveness of media for increasing the learning motivation in the learning process. Implementing the movies in German lessons promotes internal learning motivation; furthermore, it is a useful source of information that develops learners’ critical thinking skills. Throughout the pedagogic test it is concluded that implementing movies in the learning process creates variety and dynamic in it; learners become more active and are more willing to participate in the learning process; furthermore, their learning motivation deepens. In the thesis and conclusion part of the Diploma paper there are results gathered that were acquired during the research. Key words: media, movie, foreign language lesson, motivation.
