Mentālās rotācijas uzdevuma izpilde atkarībā no dzimuma

Bakalaura darbs uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 30 lapaspusēm. Tas satur 25 attēlus, 2 tabulas, un 29 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem Darba mērķis: izmantojot mentālās rotācijas testu, izvērtēt atbildes sniegšanas laika un precizitātes atšķirības sievietēm un vīriešiem Metodika: tika izmantots speciāls datorizēts tests, kas sastāvēja no 192 figūru pāriem: 96 divdimensionāliem un 96 trīsdimensionāliem. Uz datora ekrāna parādoties figūru pārim, dalībniekam bija jānovērtē vai dotās figūras ir līdzīgas (var būt rotētas) vai tās ir spoguļattēli. Rezultāti un secinājumi: Statistiski nozīmīgas atšķirības starp dzimumiem parādās tikai pie 3D figūrām pie 120 grādu leņķiskās atšķirības, par labu sievietēm, kas ir pretrunā ar citu autoru darbiem. Atslēgas vārdi: mentālā rotācija, dzimumu atšķirības, divdimensionāla/ trīsdimensionāla figūra. Bachelor thesis is written on 30 pages in Latvian. It contains 25 pictures, 2 tables and 29 references. Purpose: to evaluate differences in time and accuracy between male and female participants in mental rotation task Methods: A digitized version of mental rotation test was used. 192 object pairs (96 two- and 96 three-dimensional) were used. Once a pair of objects appears on the computer screen, the subject has to decide whether the objects are the same (but rotated) or a mirror image of one another. Results: Statistically significant differences in reaction time between genders were found only in 3D figures, at 1200 angular difference. Women showed lower response time than men which is contrary to other studies. Key words: mental rotation, gender differences, two-dimensional/three-dimensional object.
