Darbā pētītas makroskopiskas, magnētiskas lodītes un to veidotās ķēdes. This work explored macroscopic magnetic beads and chains composed of said beads. An investigation of their magnetic properties was made. The configurations of a deformed chain and forces, exerted by the ends of the chain, were compared to those of the thin, elastic rod model. An extensive study of the friction forces involved was also conducted. In order to perform said experiments, multiple experimental devices were developed, as well as software to automate some of the experiments, which is now used in other research projects. It was found that the method used for magnetic moment determination of the beads is of acceptable precision. It was also found that the deformations of the bead chain can be well described by the numerical solutions of the elastic rod model. The force also corresponds well to the model, as long as the bending elasticity constant of the chain is determined by the developed half-ring method. The role of frictional forces was found to be significant.
