The aim of the study: to evaluate long term and seasonal changes of the hydrological and hydrochemical regime of the Barta river. In this study the hydrological and hydrochemical observation data sets of the Barta-Dūkupji observation station, respectively from 1951 to 2008 and 1978 to 2008 have used. Meteorological observation data series from Liepaja stations from 1966 to 2008 have used, as well. Monitoring observation data processing and analysis to apply the mathematical statistical methods. The study showed that the changes of hydrochemical regime have close correlation with the hydrological regime and vegetation period of the Barta river. In this turn the long term and seasonal changes of the hydrological regime are closely related to global climate warming impact.
