Prefiksāli slenga verbi mūsdienu latviešu valodā

Abstract

Slengs ir bagātīga neliterārās leksikas daļa, kura nepārtraukti papildinās ar jaundarinājumiem. Slengs vairs nav tikai sarunvalodas daļa. Tas arvien plašāk iespiežas masu mediju valodā. Maģistra darba „Prefiksāli slenga verbi mūsdienu latviešu valodā” mērķis ir apzināt prefiksālu slenga verbu izplatību mūsdienu latviešu valodā un noskaidrot prefiksu lomu slenga nozīmju veidošanā. Lai šo mērķi sasniegtu, teorētiskās literatūras studijās aplūkoti jēdzieni argo, žargons un slengs, izveidota prefiksālu verbu datubāze, iekļaujot tajā verbu lietojuma piemērus no tīmekļa un Saeimas sēžu stenogrammu korpusa, veikta apkopoto slenga verbu vispusīga analīze. Iegūtie rezultāti sniedz priekšstatu par aktīvajā apritē esošu slenga verbu cilmi, verbu vārddarināšanas ligzdām, slenga verbu tematiku un prefiksu lomu slengu nozīmju izteikšanā.

Slang is a rich part of the low colloquial language that constantly acquires the new words. Slang is being used not only in colloquial speech, nowadays it is used in the language of mass media as well. The goal of the master thesis „Prefixal Slang Verbs in Modern Latvian” is to explore the prefixal slang verbs in contemporary Latvian and to clarify the role of the prefixes in creation of the slang meanings. To achieve this objective multiple tasks are done. The terms argot, jargon and slang are explored in theoretical literature studies. The prefixal verb database is created containing verb usage samples from the Internet and from the transcriptions of the Saeima (the parliament of Latvia) sittings. Comprehensive analysis of collected data is performed. The results describe the origins of the slang verbs in modern Latvian, the word formation nests of the verbs, the topics of the slang verbs and the role of the prefixes in the expression of the slang meanings.
