Kodu maiņas funkciju salīdzinājums mutiskajā un rakstiskajā apmaiņas studentu saziņā

Abstract

Studentu apmaiņas programmas pastāvīgi turpina piesaistīt jaunus dalībniekus, tādējādi radot lielas kopienas, kuras veido studenti no visas pasaules. Šis pētījums ir vērsts uz koda maiņas izpēti mutiskajā un elektroniskajā apmaiņas studentu saziņā. Pētījuma mērķis ir salīdzināt koda maiņas funkciju lietojumu iepriekš minētajos saziņas veidos. Analīzes veikšanai tika izveidoti 2 korpusi, kas ietver apmaiņas studentu sarunas un Facebook Messenger sarakstes. Iepriekš ierakstītās studentu sarunas tika transkribētas, lai vēlāk veiktu diskursa analīzi. Pēc koda maiņas lietojuma analīzes veikšanas tika secināts, ka dažas no koda maiņas funkcijām ir sastopamas gan mutiskajā, gan elektroniskajā saziņā, taču citas ir novērojamas tikai vienā no saziņas veidiem. Var secināt, ka neverbālo saziņas līdzekļu lietojums ir ļoti svarīgs attiecīgās funkcijas izvēles veicināšanā.

Student exchange programmes are constantly attracting new participants and, thus, large communities that are comprised of students from all over the world are created. The current research aims at investigating code-switching in spoken and computer-mediated exchange student communication, particularly, to compare the functions of code-switching in both types of communication. In order to conduct the analysis, two corpora were created that include exchange student conversations and Facebook Messenger interactions. Previously recorded student conversations were transcribed in order to carry out discourse analysis. Moreover, some of the functions appeared in both types of communication, but other functions were present only in one of them. Thus, it was concluded that the presence or absence of non-verbal aspects of communication play an important role in fostering the use of particular function.
