Lingvistiskā iztēle un identitāte: korsikāņu un skotu preses salīdzinošā analīze

Šī maģistra darba tēma ir lingvistiskā iztēle, kas ir personiskais viedoklis par runas un izteiksmes veidu. Lingvistisko iztēli ietekmē valsts valodas norma. Maģistra darba mērķis ir noteikt korsikāņu un skotu lingvistisko iztēli. Teorētiskie avoti aptver valodas konceptu, valodas normas un lingvistiskās iztēles tipoloģiju, kā arī identitātes jautājumu. Praktiskā daļa ietver metodoloģiju un leksisko lauku analīzes rezultātus britu, skotu, franču un korsikāņu periodiskajos izdevumos. Pētījuma rezultāti parādīja, ka skotu identitāte ir maz saistīta ar valodu, kamēr korsikāņi valodai piešķir spēcīgu simbolisku statusu. The topic of this master thesis is linguistic imagination which is the personal opinion on the way of speaking and expressing oneself. The linguistic norm established by the state affects the linguistic imagination. The aim of the thesis is to determine the linguistic imagination of Corsicans and the Scottish. The theoretical sources cover the concept of language, the typology of the linguistic norm and linguistic imagination and the problem of identity. The empirical part includes the methodology and the results of lexical field analysis in British, Scottish, French and Corsican periodicals. The results of this study showed that the Scottish identity is not very linked with language, whereas language has a strong symbolic status for Corsicans.
