Jēzus lūgšana hesihasmā un mantra tantriskajā hinduismā: salīdzinošā analīze

Abstract

Maģistra darbs „Jēzus lūgšana hesihasmā un mantra tantriskajā hinduismā: salīdzinošā analīze” atspoguļo salīdzinājumu starp Jēzus lūgšanu hesihasma tradīcijā un mantru tantriskajā hinduismā. Darba mērķis ir noteikt kopīgos un atšķirīgos elementus šajās divās reliģiskajās praksēs. Darbs aptver divas atšķirīgas reliģiskās sistēmas, cenšoties atklāt tajās līdzīgas idejas par cilvēka dabu un tās galējo mērķi. Darba uzdevumi: hesihasma tradīcijas raksturošana, Jēzus lūgšanas prakses konteksta noteikšana, tantriskā hinduisma pamatprincipu apzināšana un mantras nozīmes tajā atspoguļošana. Par savienojošo elementu tiek izvirzīts šajās tradīcijās klātesošais antropoloģiskais skatījums. Kopīgais motīvs ir pieredze kā centrs cilvēka būtības saprašanai. Darbā tika secināts, ka Jēzus lūgšana un mantra tantriskajā hinduismā tiek praktizēta līdzīgā veidā un satur arī līdzīgus mērķus. Cilvēka garīgā un fiziskā būtība šajās praksēs tiek apvienota. Cilvēks pārvar pieķeršanos savām iekšējām un ārējām tieksmēm, kas tiek sauktas par kaislībām. Par galējo mērķi abās tradīcijās tiek atzīta nediskursīvas, tīras apziņas iegūšana.

The Master thesis “Jesus prayer in hesychasm tradition and mantra in tantric Hinduism: comparative analysis” reveals comparison between concepts of Jesus prayer in hesychasm tradition and mantra in tantric Hinduism. The aim of this thesis is to acknowledge common and diverse elements in the given religious practises. Thesis holds analyse of two different religious systems, in order to demonstrate similar ideas about human nature and its significance. The following tasks are introduced in the thesis: to describe tradition of hesychasm; to acknowledge the context of Jesus prayer practise; to determine basic principles of tantric Hinduism and meaning of mantra in it. As a uniting element is given anthropological view which is present in both of these traditions. Experience as a main aspect in understanding human nature is shared motive of both religious disciplines. Conclusion of master thesis follows: Jesus prayer and mantra in tantric Hinduism is practiced in alike manner and includes similar aims. Human mental and physical essence in both practises are comprehended. Human being overcomes attachments to one’s inner and outer yearnings, which is called passion. As a final destination both of traditions reaches for achievement of non-discursive, pure consciousness.
