Maģistra darbā atbilstoši gadījuma pētījuma dizainam aprakstīts, kā ķīmijas vidusskolas mācību stundās izmantot populārzinātniskus rakstus, lai veidotu mācību tematu saikni ar reālo dzīvi, attīstot arī skolēnu zinātnisko kompetenci. Darbā apskatīta literatūra par mūsdienīgu mācību procesu dabaszinātņu apguvē un autentisku tekstu, īpaši populārzinātnisku tekstu, izmantošanu tā realizēšanā. Pētījumā veikta skolotāju anketēšanu, izveidota populārzinātnisko rakstu datu bāze, izstrādāti metodiskie materiāli populārzinātnisko rakstu izmantošanai ķīmijas stundās un veikta to aprobācija. Veikta arī skolēnu anketēšana pirms un pēc materiālu aprobācijas, secinot, ka izmantotā metode palīdz arī veidot skolēniem interesantu mācību procesu. The Master's Thesis in accordance with the case study design presents how popular-scientific articles can be used within Chemistry lessons in high school in order to implement real-life experience within learning acquisition by developing students` scientific competence. The research deals with literature about contemporary learning process in Chemistry acquisition and using authentic texts, particularly popular-scientific articles, to fulfill it. The Master Thesis presents questionnaires carried out among teachers, the created data basis of popular-scientific articles, the developed methodological materials for using popular-scientific articles in Chemistry lessons and its approbation. There also have been questionnaires carried out among students before and after approbation of methodological materials. The data analysis also proves that the particular method is beneficial to provide interesting learning process for students.
