Tehnoloģiju ietekme loģistikā un piegādes ķēdē

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Tehnoloģiju ietekme loģistikā un piegādes ķēdē” – šīs tēmas aktualitāte ir nenoliedzama, ņemot vērā to, ka tehnoloģijām attīstoties un ieņemot aizvien lielāku lomu cilvēku dzīvēs, arī to ietekme ikdienā kļūst aizvien lielāka. Loģistiku vēsturiski vienmēr ir ietekmējušas tehnoloģiskas izmaiņas un jauninājumi, ļaujot nozarei augt un attīstīties. Arī šobrīd – lai arī daudzi saskata šajos tehnoloģiskajos jauninājumos draudus loģistikas industrijai, jāņem vērā, ka šīs inovācijas var nodrošināt arī ievērojamas konkurētspējas priekšrocības. Bakalaura darba hipotēze ir sekojoša: Jaunās tehnoloģijas pozitīvi ietekmē loģistikas nozares attīstību. Darba ietvaros hipotēze apstiprinās. Darbs ir strukturēts trīs pamata daļās – pirmajā daļā autors aplūko loģistikas kā jēdziena raksturojumu un analizē pētāmo uzņēmumu, otrajā daļā tiek izvērtētas un aplūkotas jaunās tehnoloģijas, kas visaktīvāk ietekmē loģistikas procesus šobrīd, savukārt trešajā daļā autors izskata iespējas pētāmā uzņēmuma darbības optimizēšanai, izmantojot aprakstītās tehnloģijas un citus risinājumus.

Theme of the Bachelor’s thesis is “Impact of Technology in Logistics and supply chain management” – the actuality of this theme is undenyable. As technologies develop and play larger role in life of individiduals, the impact of these technologies on peoples lives get more and more important. Historically logistics always have been heavily impacted by technological novitates, that has always stimulated growth of logistics industry. Even today – although many people see these innovations as a threat to the industry, but when actually embraced - these new technologies provide competative advantage. Research question is defined as follows: Does new technologies impact the development of logistics industry positively? Bachelor’s thesis is structured in three main parts – in the first part author focuses on characteristics of logistics and analysis of the researched company. The second part of bachelor’s thesis is mainly concerned with description of new technologies that impact processes of logistics today. In the third part author discusses possible solutions to improve the worklflow of researched company using technogies described in thesis and by other methods.
