Sižeta struktūra Dž. K. Roulingas romānā “Harijs Poters un Jauktasiņu princis”

Bakalaura darbā veikta Dž. K. Roulingas romāna “Harijs Poters un Jauktasiņu Princis” sižeta struktūras analīze. Tā mērķis ir analizēt romāna “Harijs Poters un Jauktasiņu Princis” struktūras atbilstību Freitāga piramīdai. Pētījumā apskatīts katrs Freitāga piramīdas posms un analizēts Roulingas romāns, pielietojot Freitāga piramīdu. Darbā arī aprakstīti sarežģījumi, peripetijas, atpazīšanas skati un ciešanas, kā arī analizēta tēlu izvēļu nozīme sižeta attīstībai. Lai sasniegtu pētījuma mērķi, veikta literārā darba analīze, interpretācija un strukturālā analīze. Pētījums pierāda, ka romāna “Harijs Poters un Jauktasiņu Princis” struktūra atbilst Freitāga piramīdai, kas papildināta ar sarežģījumiem, peripetijām, atpazīšanas skatiem un ciešanām. Rezultāti norāda uz efektīvu cēloņu un rezultātu mijiedarbību, kā arī atspoguļo izvēļu nozīmi sižeta attīstībai. The present research investigates the plot structure of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. The goal of this research is to analyse the plot structure of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince applying different theoretical perspectives and study whether Freytag’s Pyramid can be applied. Thus, the paper explains each part of Freytag’s Pyramid and applies it to the analysis of this particular novel. In addition, the paper discusses such elements of the plot as the inciting incident, reversal, recognition, and suffering and stresses the choices characters make as one of the main forces driving the plot. Literary analysis, close reading, interpretation, and structural analysis were applied in this research. The results indicated that Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince includes all stages of Freytag’s Pyramid, and also the inciting incident, recognition, reversal, and suffering. The main conclusions of the research were that Rowling presents exceptional cause-effect pattern and uses choices as the main drive of the plot.
