Latvijas lietuviešu identitātes iezīmes valodā un kultūrā (Saldus novadā)

Abstract

Lietuvieši un latvieši cēlušies no viena etnosa – baltiem, valodu un kultūru saskare veidojusies jau no seniem laikiem un vērojama vēl mūsdienās, līdz ar to autore vēlējās izpētīt Latvijā dzīvojošo lietuviešu saistību ar Lietuvu, noskaidrot, kādēļ lietuvieši ieceļojuši Latvijā un cik plašā skaitā mūsdienās pierobežas teritorijā tiek izmantota lietuviešu valoda.Bakalaura darba mērķis ir noteikt sociolingvistisko (etnolingvistisko) situāciju Saldus novadā, izpētīt Latvijas lietuviešu valodas un kultūras iezīmes sabiedrībā. Pētījuma teorētiskajā daļā ar speciālās literatūras palīdzību tiek aprakstīta statistiskā situācija, cik plašā skaitā un kuros laika posmos Latvijā ieceļojuši lietuvieši. Pētījuma empīriskajā daļā tiek pētītas Latvijas lietuviešu valodas un kultūras iezīmes, kā arī apkopoti rezultāti no respondentu atbildēm izdales anketās. Pētījuma pēdējā daļā, intervējot Latvijas lietuviešu ģimeņu pārstāvjus. Pētījuma nobeigumā iegūtie rezultāti tika apkopoti un veikta to apstrāde. Balstoties uz iegūtajiem rezultātiem, tika izstrādāti secinājumi par pētījumā aprakstītajām problēmām. Latvians and Lithuanians have originated from the same ethnic group - the Balts, that is why their language and culture have always been connected and related. Because of this correlation, Author was curious to study the Lithuanians currently residing in Latvia, to find out why did they choose to emigrate, how common is the usage of their native language and if they still have bonds with their own culture. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to discover the sociolingustic (ethnolingustic) situation of the Lithuanians living in the region of Saldus and to study the specifics of their culture and language in local society. Using scientific literature, the theoretical part deals with describing the statistics of the immigration of Lithuanians over different periods of time. The empirical part studies the specifics of the culture and language of the respondents (Lithuanians residing in Latvia) along with the compiled results of the questionairres. The last part of the research deals with authors investment – interviews with Lithuanian families, focusing on the reasons of emigration. The obtained results were summarized at the conclusion of the survey and the final result design was made. Based on the obtained results, there were conclusions made on the issue of the survey.
