Bērnu tiesību aizsardzības jautājums mūsdienās ir kļuvis īpaši aktuāls, tostarp saistībā ar mediju darbību. Kaut arī bērnu tiesību un interešu aizsardzību un mijiedarbību ar citām tiesībām regulē dažādi normatīvie akti, patieso situāciju atspoguļo mediju publicēto rakstu analīze. Pastāvošās problēmas dēļ kolīziju mediju tiesībām, bērna tiesībām un sabiedrības tiesībām zināt mēģināts risināt arī ar citiem līdzekļiem, pievēršot aktuālajai problēmai sabiedrības uzmanību. Darba mērķis ir vērtēt minēto kolīziju, analizējot dažādus piedāvātos risinājumus, kā arī pētot problēmsituācijas dzīvē. Darba autore, veicot izpēti, izvērtēs mūsdienu sabiedrības nozīmīgo ietekmi un lomu mediju tiesību un bērnu tiesību mijiedarbībā. Protection of the rights of children has become an important matter nowadays, especially in connection with media actions. Although children’s rights and interests are being protected under various laws, the real situation is reflected by analysis of articles published by media. Because of the existing problem, there are attempts to solve the collision between media rights, children’s rights and the public’s right to know by other means and by drawing public’s attention to it. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the mentioned collision, analysing various proposed solutions as well as researching problematic situations in real life. The author will evaluate the important role and impact of today’s society on the interaction between media rights and children’s rights.
