Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Vizuālā naratīva loma Džana Imou un Anga Lī wuxia filmu satura veidošanā”. Darbs ietver filmu “Tīģeris un Drakons” (“Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”, 2000), “Varonis” (“Hero”, 2002) un “Lidojošo dunču nams” (“House of Flying Daggers”, 2004) analīzi ar mērķi noskaidrot wuxia žanra unikālo stilu, tā elementu pielietojumu uz ekrāna, kā arī vizuālā naratīva un kino valodas kopējās un atšķirīgās iezīmes pētāmo filmu satura veidošanā. Darba teorētiskajā daļā tiek sīkāk apskatīti termini, kas saistīti ar vizuālo naratīvu, kino valodu un tās elementiem, kā arī wuxia žanra iezīmēm. Darba metodoloģiskajā daļā tika izmantota semiotikas un naratīva analīze. Ar pētniecības metožu palīdzību tika analizētas minētās filmas un noteiktas to kopējās un atšķirīgās iezīmes, kā arī veikti secinājumi. The topic of the bachelor thesis is “The role of visual narrative in content creation in Zhang Yimou and Ang Lee wuxia movies”. This thesis includes analysis of movies “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”, 2000, “Hero”, 2002 and “House of Flying Daggers”, 2004 in order to find out the unique style of wuxia genre, the use of it on the screen and common and distinctive features of visual narrative and film language in the content creation of the studied films. The theoretical part of the thesis includes a detailed view of the terms related to the visual narrative, film language, and its elements, as well as the wuxia genre features. In the methodological part of thesis, there were used semiotic and narrative analysis.
