Abstract
Farmaceitisko savienojumu noteikšana apkārtējās vides paraugos ar augstas izšķirtspējas masspektrometrijas metodēm. Pērkons I., zinātniskie vadītāji: Dr. ķīm., asoc. prof.
Determination of pharmaceutical residues in environmental samples using high-resolution mass spectrometry. Perkons I., scientific supervisors: Dr. chem., asoc. prof. Vadims Bartkevičs, Dr. chem. Dzintars Začs. Masters’s thesis, 51 page, 16 figures, 16 tables, 54 literature references, 1 appendicle. In Latvian. A multi-class UHPLC-Q-Orbitrap-HRMS method for the determination of 24 emerging pharmaceutical residues has been developed, along with a selective GC-HRMS method for the determination of steroidal estrogens such as 17β-estradiol and 17α-ethinyl estradiol. GC-HRMS method was examined and compared with an identical GC-MS2 method. All acknowledged methods were optimized and validated by a single-laboratory validation procedure and showed satisfactory analytical performance. Both methods were successfully applied to the analysis of emerging pharmaceutical residues in wastewater and surface water samples.
