Efektīva IPTV bezvadu pārraide mājas tīklā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba uzdevums ir mājas apstākļos izveidot datortīklu, kurā saņemtā Interneta Protokola televīzijas plūsma pirms nonākšanas televīzijas iekārtā tiek pārraidīta bezvadu tīkla, tādējādi ļaujot izvairīties no papildu tīkla kabeļu ievilkšanas. Mērķis ir šajā tīklā panākt efektīvu datu plūsmu bez tīkla traucējumiem un citiem nevēlamiem blakusefektiem. Mērķa sasniegšanai darbā pētīti un izmēģināti vairāki tīkla konfigurācijas varianti, analizēta televīzijas plūsmas ietekme uz pārējo bezvadu tīklu, kā arī aprakstītas novērotās sekas un to iespējamie cēloņi. Datortīkla izveidē izmēģinātas divu ražotāju tīkla iekārtas. Darba noslēgumā ir izveidots strādājošs tīkls, kurā televīzijas pārraide notiek paredzētajā veidā, tomēr izvirzītie mērķi nav sasniegti pilnībā, ar datu efektīvu plūsmu saistītām problēmām saglabājoties.

The task of the bachelor’s paper is to create a new network in home environment where the received Internet Protocol television stream is transmitted wirelessly before entering television unit, thus avoiding the need for additional network cabling. The aim is to achieve efficient data flow in this network without any network interference and other side effects. To achieve the objectives, different network configuration variants were tried, television data flow's impact on the rest of the wireless network was analysed, and the observed effects and their possible causes have been described. In the result, a working network has been created where television transmission happens in the intended way. Not all of the objectives were fully met, however, and a few data flow problems still persist.
