Pasaulē šobrīd elektronisko norēķinu veidi ir plaši pieejami, arī Latvijas bankas aktīvi izplata elektronisko norēķinu palīgrīkus, piedāvājot internetbankas un maksājuma karšu komplektus. Darba autors noskaidro Latvijas elektrisko norēķinu tirgus gatavību pāriet no skaidrās naudas maksājumiem uz elektroniskiem norēķiniem, analizē elektronisko norēķinu attīstības tendences. Autors vispirms aplūko elektronisko norēķinu vēsturisko pusi. Pievērš uzmanību spēkā esošo likumu normatīviem regulējumiem. Veic elektronisko norēķinu tirgus analīzi, atklāj nākotnes attīstības tendences. Sniedz informāciju par elektronisko norēķinu riskiem, norēķinu drošības un risku novēršanas pasākumiem Uz darba gaitā iegūto rezultātu pamata autors izdarījis secinājumus par elektronisko norēķinu attīstību. Kaut arī elektronisko norēķinu tirgus aug, attīstās un pilnveidojas, pasaule vēl nav gatava pilnīgi atteikties no skaidrās naudas aprites. Elektronisko norēķinu riski nav līdz galam izanalizēti un novērsti. Nowadays electronic payments are well known and widely used all over the world that is a reason why Latvian banks are actively implementing distribution of different electronic payment tools, for example, offering Internet banking and payment card sets. The author evaluates the ability of Latvian electronic payment market's to move from cash payments to electronic billing as well as is analyzing electronic billing trends. First of all, the author looks at the electronic payment historical side. Later, the author investigates the laws concerning regulatory framework. Performs an analysis of the electronic payment market and reveals future trends. Finally, the author presents the main information about electronic payment risks, payment security and risk prevention measures. In the end, the author comes up with own conclusions and recommendations concerning development of electronic payments. According to the research results, the electronic payment market is growing, improving and developing, however the population is not ready yet to completely stop using cash primarily due to inability to fully analyze and resolve electronic banking risks.
