Kauna nozīme Martas Nusbaumas taisnīguma koncepcijā

Abstract

Darbā apskatīts kauna aspekts un nozīme Martas Nusbaumas taisnīguma teorijas ietvaros un salīdzināts ar citu autoru izpratni par kaunu, koncentrējoties galvenokārt 20. gs. otrās puses domātāju sarakstītajos materiālos un mūsdienu sabiedrības kontekstā. Kauns tiek skatīts dzimuma aspektā, tiek pētīts kauns bērnībā un Nusbaumas idejas par to, kādu lomu kauns var spēlēt sodīšanas nolūkos. Kauns tiek pētīts filozofijas un psiholoģijas ietvaros, apskatot kauna ikdienas dzīves nozīmi.

In this paper aspects of shame and it’s role in Martha Nussbaum’s theorries of justice are researched and compared to other author ideas and understanding of shame, focusing mainly on written works of thinkers of late 20 century and in context of modern society. The aspect of gender, what shame is in childhood years and Nussbaum’s ideas about what role shame could play in punishment. Shame is researched in the sence of philosophy and psychology, visiting the meaning of shame in everyday life.
