Vide mijiedarbē ar cilvēku: Ogres iedzīvotāju fleksibilitāte ārkārtas situācijās plūdu laikā

Abstract

Šajā bakalaura darbā pētīta Ogres iedzīvotāju spēja pielāgoties cilvēknedrošām situācijām. Pētījums apskata Ogres iedzīvotāju fleksibilitāti plūdu laikā. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot šīs pilsētas iedzīvotāju informētību un izpratni par cilvēkdrošu vidi un identificēt Ogres iedzīvotāju pielāgošanās stratēģijas ārkārtas situācijās. Pētījuma ietvaros tika aptaujāti seši Ogres novada Ogresgala ciema apdzīvotās vietas “Dārziņi” iedzīvotāji, lai uzzinātu, kādēļ viņi izvēlas dzīvot vietā, kas pakļauj viņu drošību riskam, kā viņu lēmums atspoguļo izpratni un informētību par cilvēkdrošu vidi un kā aptaujātie cilvēki pielāgojušies dzīvei šādā vidē. Pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka Ogres iedzīvotāji ir informēti par cilvēkdrošu vidi un, ņemot vērā iepriekšējo pieredzi, ir attīstījuši dažādas pielāgošanās stratēģijas ārkārtas situācijām, tomēr plūdu laikā jūtas bezspēcīgi un nedroši.

This bachelor’s thesis discusses the capacity of the residents of the city Ogre to adapt to situations that pose a threat to human safety. More specifically, the research looks at the flexibility of the city’s residents during floods. The aim of the study is to determine the city’s residents’ awareness about and understanding of what constitutes an environment that is safe for humans and to identify the city residents’ adaption strategies in emergency situations. Six interviews were conducted with people living in the Ogre region, in the “Dārziņi” locality of the Ogresgals village, to find out why they choose to live in a place that poses a threat to their safety, how their decision reflects an awareness about and understanding of what constitutes an environment that is safe for humans and how the respondents have adapted to a life in this environment. The results of the research show that the residents of Ogre are informed about what constitutes an environment that is safe for humans and that they have developed various adaption strategies for emergency situations based on their previous experience, but that they feel helpless and unsafe during times of flood.
