Sacensību trauksmes saistība ar sportisko sniegumu treniņos un sacensībās skeletonā un kamaniņu sportā

Abstract

Pētījuma mērķis bija izpētīt trauksmes pirms sacensībām saistību ar sniegumu tajās salīdzinājumā ar trauksmi pirms treniņiem un sniegumu tajos, noskaidrot, kāda ir sportistu trauksmes saistība ar sacensību pieredzi, kā arī izpētīt iespējamās atšķirības gan sportistu trauksmē pirms treniņiem un sacensībām, gan sportiskajā sniegumā treniņos un sacensībās. Sacensību trauksme tika mērīta retrospektīvi ar Pārskatītās Sacensību trauksmes kā stāvokļa aptauju – 2 (Revised Competitive State Anxiety Inventory–2, Cox, Martens, & Russell, 2003), kas sacensību trauksmi mēra somatiskās trauksmes, kognitīvās trauksmes un pašpārliecinātības apakšskalās. Sportiskā snieguma noteikšanai sportistu treneri aizpildīja anketu, subjektīvi novērtējot atlētu sniegumu Likerta skalā. Pētījumā piedalījās 49 elites klases sportisti no Latvijas (n=31) un Ukrainas (n=18) pieaugušo un junioru izlasēm. Latviešu grupā tika konstatētas statistiski nozīmīgas atšķirības starp pašpārliecinātības un snieguma saistību treniņos un pašpārliecinātības un snieguma saistību sacensībās. Latviešu sportistu grupā treniņu situācijā visu sacensību trauksmes apakšskalu rādītāji uzrādīja statistiski nozīmīgas saistības ar sacensību pieredzes ilgumu – negatīvas ar kognitīvo un somatisko trauksmi, bet pozitīvas ar pašpārliecinātību. Sacensību situācijā šai pašai grupai tika novērota statistiski nozīmīga saistība starp sacensību pieredzes ilgumu un kognitīvo trauksmi. Netika konstatētas statistiski nozīmīgas atšķirības ne sacensību trauksmes apakšskalās, ne sniegumā starp treniņiem un sacensībām.

The aim of this study was to compare the correlations between competitive state anxiety and performance in competition to correlations between competitive state anxiety and performance in practice, also to examine the relationship between competitive state anxiety and competitive experience and to compare competitive state anxiety components and performance in practice and competition. Participants were asked to retrospectively complete the Revised Competitive State Anxiety Inventory–2 (Cox, Martens, & Russell, 2003), that measures three components of competitive state anxiety – somatic anxiety, cognitive anxiety and self-confidence. In order to measure the performance, coaches were asked to give their subjective evaluation to the performance of athletes on a Likert scale. The participants were 49 elite athletes from the junior and National teams of Latvia (n=31) and Ukraine (n=18). Findings of this paper show a significant difference between the correlation coefficient of self-confidence and performance in practice and the correlation coefficient of self-confidence and performance in competition in the group of Latvian athletes. All three competitive anxiety components in the Latvian athlete group showed significant correlation to competitive experience – a negative one with cognitive and somatic anxiety and a positive one with self-confidence. The same group showed statistically significant negative correlation between competitive experience and cognitive anxiety. No significant differences were observed between the practice and competition results of performance or any of the competitive anxiety components.
