Diplomdarba tēma “Dizaina izglītība mājturībā un tehnoloģijās 4. klasē”. Darba autores diplomdarba pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt dizaina izglītības iespējas mājturības un tehnoloģiju mācību stundās 4. klasei. Izvirzītais pētījuma jautājums ir “ Kā sekmēt dizaina izglītības iespējas mājturības un tehnoloģiju mācību stundās 4. klasē?” Diplomdarba pirmajā nodaļā analizēta dizaina izglītības nozīme un specifika. Otrajā nodaļā analizēta Norvēģijas pieredze dizaina izglītības kontekstā. Trešajā nodaļā analizēts mājturības un tehnoloģiju mācību priekšmeta saturs 4. klasei, izveidots tematiskais plāns dizaina priekšmeta apguvē, apskatītas mācību metodes dizaina izglītības kontekstā. Ceturtajā nodaļā darba autore analizē izveidotā tematiskā plāna aprobācijas un anketēšanas rezultātus. Atslēgvārdi: dizains, dizaina izglītība, mājturība un tehnoloģijas, radošā darbība. The title of the thesis is “The teaching of design in Home Economics and Design and technology classes for the 4th grade pupils of the primary school". The aim of the study is to explore the possibilities for design education during the home economics and technology classes for the 4th grade pupils. The target research question is how to promote design education. The first chapter of the thesis focuses on the importance and specifics of the design education. In the second chapter, the author provides an example of the design education in Norwegian primary schools. In the third chapter the author goes into the depth of the content of the home economics and technology classes for the 4th grade pupils in Latvia, presents a thematic plan for design education as well as discusses the appropriate teaching methods within the given context. In the fourth chapter, the author presents the elaborated study plan for design education for the 4th grade pupils and analyzes the results of its implementation in school.
