Vēstures skolotāju vajadzību izvērtējums 2018.gada izglītības reformas kontekstā

Abstract

Maģistra darba tēma ir „Vēstures skolotāju vajadzību izvērtējums 2018. gada izglītības reformas kontekstā”. Darba mērķis ir apzināt vēstures skolotāju profesionālās vajadzības 2018.g. izglītības reformas kontekstā un izstrādāt priekšlikumus šo vajadzību apmierināšanai. Mērķa sasniegšanai izvirzītie mērķi saistāmi ar teorētiskās literatūras un aktuālās informācijas apkopošanu un analīzi, procesā ieinteresēto pušu identificēšanu un interviju veikšanu problemātikas padziļinātai izzināšanai un skolotāju vajadzību izvērtēšanai. Darba aktualitāte saistāma ar reformas pašreizējo norisi – reformu pilnā mērā plānots uzsākt 2018.g. septembrī, līdz ar to darbs veidots paralēli reformas uzsākšanas darbam. Būtiskākais darba pielietojums saistāms ar iespēju identificētās skolotāju vajadzības integrēt reformas realizācijas gaitā. Pētījuma dizains izraudzīts pamatotā teorija, datu vākšanas metode – intervija. Pamatojums šādai izvēlei saistāms ar to, ka reforma vēl ir izstrādes stadijā un lai to analizētu nepieciešama informācija no procesā iesaistītajām pusēm, veltot uzmanību gan vēstures skolotājiem, gan citiem jomas ekspertiem. Darba gaitā secināts, ka mainoties izpratnei par kvalitatīvu izglītību un vēstures vietai sabiedrībā, vēstures skolotāju galvenās profesionālās vajadzības saistītas ar skaidri pārredzamu izglītības politiku, skolotāju izglītības jautājumu un profesionālās pilnveides optimizāciju, materiāltehniskās un mācību līdzekļu bāzes nodrošinājumu, kā arī profesijas prestiža palielināšanos sabiedrībā. Bez norādītā būtisks aspekts, kas iezīmējas ir skolotāju motivācijas problemātika. Darbs sastāv no 3 nodaļām, 8 apakšnodaļām un 3 pielikumiem.

The title of the Master Paper is “History Teachers' Needs Assessment in the Context of Educational Reform 2018”.The aim of the paper is to examine history teachers’ professional needs in the context of educational reforms in 2018 and develop proposals for these needs. The objectives for reaching the aim are connected to the gathering and analysing theoretical literature and latest information, identifying the interested parties and carrying interviews in order to deeply explore problematics and evaluate teachers’ needs. The paper is topical due to the process of the current reform – it is planned to commence the reform in September 2018, thus, the paper is created inparallel to the beginning of the reform. The most important use of the paper is connected to the possibility to integrate teachers’ needs in in the course of implementation. The design of the research is chosen for based theory, data collection method – an interview. The justification for this choice is due to the fact that the reform is still in the design phase and in order to analyse it, the information from the parties involved in the process is necessary, meanwhile paying attention to both the history teachers and other experts in the field. During the research, it was concluded that as the understanding of quality education and the role of history in the society changes, history teachers’ main needs concerns a clear educational policy, teachers’ education issue and the optimisation of professional development, support of the material-technical and education means, as well as the increase of teachers’ prestige in the society. Excluding the mentioned, an important aspect that outlines the problem is the issue of teachers’ motivation. The paper consists of 3 chapters, 8 subchapters and 3 appendices.
