Angļu valodas mācību grāmatu vērtēšanas principi

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā aprakstīts angļu valodas kā svešvalodas mācīšanā izmantoto mācību grāmatu izvērtējums, salīdzinot ar Valsts Izglītības Satura Centra izveidoto mācību priekšmeta paraugu angļu valodas mācīšanai. Pētījuma mērķis bija rast priekšstatu par mācību grāmatu kvalitāti, kas tiek izmantotas angļu valodas apguvē 10. – 12. klasēs. Par pētījuma metodēm tika izvēlētas teorētiskā analīze, kvalitatīvā pētījuma metode, kā arī aptaujas analīze. Rezultātā tika atklāts, ka, izvērtējot pētījuma bāzes skolā angļu valodas apguvē izmantotās trīs mācību grāmatas – ‘CHOICES Intermediate’, ‘CHOICES Upper-Intermediate’ un ‘Upstream Advanced’ – ‘Upstream’ (Express Publishing) ietver visvairāk no Valsts Izglītības Satura Centra izveidotā mācību priekšmeta parauga angļu valodas mācīšanai iekļautā tematiskā satura.

The Bachelor’s Thesis deals with the evaluation of the textbooks used for teaching English as a Foreign Language in comparison with the Sample Programme for Teaching English on a Secondary Level developed by the National Centre for Education. The research was conducted to gain an insight in the textbook quality that are used for teaching Form 10 – 12 students in Secondary School. During the research, the topics in the textbooks were analysed. For the research, theoretical analysis, qualitative research method and survey analysis were used. The research revealed that, among the three textbooks ‘CHOICES Intermediate’, ‘CHOICES Upper-Intermediate’ and ‘Upstream Advanced’, which are used in the research base school, ‘Upstream’ (Express Publishing) includes more of the topics included in the Sample Programme.
