Lībiešu etnosa izpētes jautājumi Latvijas teritorijā (19.gs. vidus-I Pasaules karš)

Abstract

Darba “Lībiešu etnosa izpētes jautājumi Latvijas teritorijā (19. gs. vidus – I Pasaules karš)” būtība ir apskatīt lībiešu etnosa izpēti dažādu vēstures zinātņu attīstības pirmsākumos. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, kuri no šajā laika periodā veiktajiem pētījumiem arheoloģijas, antropoloģijas, etnogrāfijas un lingvistikas nozarēs nav zaudējuši savu nozīmi līdz mūsdienām. Mērķa sasniegšanai tika veikta šo zinātnes nozaru izvirzīto teoriju, sasniegumu un ar tiem saistīto publikāciju analīze un to šodienas aktualitātes izvērtēšana. Darba rezultātā tiek gūta atziņa, ka no šajā laika periodā publicētajiem darbiem un tajos izvirzītajām teorijām mūsdienās aktualitāti ir zaudējuši arheoloģiskie pētījumi, aktualitāti ir saglabājuši atsevišķi antropoloģiskie pētījumi, savu nozīmi nav zaudējuši etnogrāfiskie un liela daļa lingvistisko pētījumu.

The main essence of the paper "The research issues of the Liv ethnic group in the territory of Latvia (the mid-19th century - World War I)" is to explore the research of Liv ethnos in the early years of development of various history sciences. The aim of the paper is to find out which of the studies carried out during this period in the branches of archeology, anthropology, ethnography and linguistics have not lost their relevance up to nowadays. To achieve this aim the analysis of the nominated theories, achievements and related publications in these science branches, as well as the current situation assessment were carried out. As a result it can be stated that out of the publications and their nominated theories of this period of time archeological investigations have lost their actuality nowadays, separate anthropological studies have kept their actuality, ethnographic and a major part of linguistic studies have not lost their significance.
