Semantiskās makrostruktūras rakstos par Maltas prezidentūru Eiropas Savienības Padomē

Kognitīvās psiholoģijas pētījumi izceļ tematu kā galveno teksta elementu, ko cilvēka prāts atceras, tādēļ ziņu rakstu par politiski nozīmīgiem notikumiem, kā ES prezidentūra, semantiskās makrostruktūras norāda uz šī notikuma prioritātēm un veido sabiedrības viedokli par apspriestajiem jautājumiem. Šī pētījuma mērķis ir apskatīt ziņu rakstu par Maltas prezidentūru ES Padomē semantiskās makrostruktūras ar diskursa analīzes palīdzību un novērtēt Padomes izvirzīto prioritāšu atbilstību tēmām, kas tiek minētas prezidentūras oficiālajā tīmekļa vietnē publicētajos rakstos. Pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka vairākums rakstos iekļauto semantisko makrostruktūru attiecas uz ES administrāciju, migrāciju un drošību, tomēr daļa ES prezidentūras nosprausto prioritāšu nav pietiekami apskatītas. Studies in cognitive psychology reveal topic as the main element of a text that the human mind recalls; therefore, semantic macrostructures of news articles on politically important events, such as the EU Presidency, illustrate the main priorities of the event and shape the public opinion on the issues discussed. The present study aims to examine semantic macrostructures of articles on Malta’s Presidency of the EU Council by means of discourse analysis and evaluate the concordance of the priorities set the Council with the actual themes discussed in the articles published on the official site of the Presidency. Research results show that most semantic macrostructures implied in the articles relate to the EU administration, migration and security; however, a portion of EU Presidency priorities have not been sufficiently discussed.
