Abstract

Maģistra darba „20.gadsimta 20.-30.gadu Rīga Andreja Johansona, Marisa Vētras un Paulas Jēgeres-Freimanes memuāros” mērķis ir izpētes rezultātā raksturot 20.gadsimta 20-.-30.gadu Rīgas kultūrvēsturisko un topogrāfisko vidi trimdas autoru: Andreja Johansona, Marisa Vētras un Paulas Jēgeres-Freimanes memuāros. Rīgas nozīmība ir veidojusies vairāku gadsimtu garumā, taču Latvijas brīvvalsts laikā tā piedzīvoja kultūras un mākslas uzplaukumu, kas radīja pamatu tādiem apzīmējumiem kā “zelta laikmets” un “zaudētā paradīze”. Atsevišķu trimdas autoru memuāri ir uzskatāmi par īpaši spilgtu atzīšanos mīlestībā savai pilsētai Rīgai, jo tam līdzās nāk autoru emocionāli psiholoģiskais aspekts un arī apliecinājums Latvijas brīvvalsts laika stabilitātei un brīvībai. Memuāru autori pievēršas dažādiem Rīgas pilsētas aspektiem: topogrāfiju, kultūru un mākslu, izklaides dzīvi un sabiedrību, un Rīga tiek skatīta arī no atšķirīgām pozīcijām: galvenais objekts, dzīves telpa, fons. Katrs no memuāru autoriem pārstāv citu vecuma paaudzi, tādēļ ir saistoši izzināt kā viņi Rīgu atceras gan atmiņās, gan vērtē no memuāru rakstīšanas laika.

The aim of master work “Riga of the 20`s and 30`s of the 20th century in the memoirs of Andrejs Johansons, Mariss Vetra and Paula Jegere-Freimane” is to characterize, in research result, cultural and historical and topography environment of Riga in 20`s and 30`s in three exile authors memoirs: Andrejs Johansons, Mariss Vetra and Paula Jegere-Freimane. The importance of Riga formed in several centuries, but only in time when Latvia was free state, the city experienced flourishing of culture and art, what created to call this time “gold era” and “the lost paradise”. Separate memoirs of exile authors are considered as declaration of love for Riga, because authors of memoirs has emotional psychology feelings about it, and also memoirs are like their affirmation for stability and freedom of Latvia. Authors pay attention to different aspects of Riga: topography, culture and art, entertainment life and society, and they also look to Riga with different position: as the main object, living space, background. Authors represent different age generation and that’s the reason why is interesting to know how Riga is remained in their memory and how they look to it from the time when they wrote memoirs.
