Kādreizējo fabrikas strādnieku sociālekonomisko pārmaiņu pieredzes postsociālisma Lietuvā

Abstract

Šī maģistra darba mērķis ir sniegt vēsturiski situētu etnogrāfisku ieskatu, kas apraksta un kontekstualizē bijušo rūpnīcu strādnieku ikdienas dzīves postsociālistiskā Lietuvā. Šis pētījums seko personīgiem naratīviem par darbu kā pieredzēm socialistiskā pārvaldes sistēmā. Tas skaidro kā šīs pieredzes tiek atsauktas atmiņā un iekļautas tagadnes naratīvos. Šis etnogrāfiskais pētījums balstās vairākās datu ieguves metodēs, tai skaitā, arhīva materiālu analīzē, daļēji strukturētās intervijās, novērojumos, kā arī vizuālās antropoloģijas metodēs. Šis pētījums ir ievietojams plašākā postsociālisma antropoloģijas debatē. Tas parāda, kā kolektīvās atmiņas un kolektīvās aizmiršanas koncepti, kā arī nostaļģija palīdz skaidrot bijušo strādnieku dzīves.

This Master’s thesis is aimed at delivering a historically informed ethnographic case study which looks at, describes and contextualizes the daily lives of former factory workers in postsocialist Lithuania. The objective of this study is to trace the personal narratives of work as experiences under state socialist system and explain how these experiences are remembered and made sense of in the present. As an ethnographic case study, this research is based on multiple data collection methods including archival research, semi-structured interviews, observations, and visual anthropology. This thesis is situated within the theoretical framework of anthropology of postsocialism, and shows how the concepts of collective memory, and collective forgetting, as well as nostalgia, aid in explaining and theorizing the existence of former factory workers.
