Eiropas Savienība pašreiz ir saskārusies ar ļoti lielu patvēruma meklētāju skaitu, līdz ar to maģistra darbā ir aplūkoti problēmjautājumi, kas pašreiz pastāv Kopējā Eiropas patvēruma sistēmā. Ņemot vērā, ka viens no Kopējās Eiropas patvēruma sistēmas reglamentējošajiem normatīvajiem aktiem ir Dublinas regula, tad maģistra darbā autore padziļināti aplūko un analizē Dublinas regulas atbilstību pašreizējam patvēruma meklētāju pieplūdumam, tostarp apskatot un analizējot iespējamās Dublinas regulas izmaiņas. Maģistra darba mērķis ir izpētīt Dublinas regulas efektivitāti patvēruma meklētāju pieplūduma gadījumā, kā arī iespējamos risinājumus Dublinas regulas pilnveidošanā. Maģistra darbs sastāv no trīs nodaļām, kurās ir apskatīta Kopējā Eiropas patvēruma sistēma, Dublinas regulas vispārīgie nosacījumi un tās problemātiskie aspekti un risinājumi. In the Master’s thesis author rewievs issues that currently exists in the Common European asylum system. One of the Common European asylum system regulating normative acts is the Dublin Regulation, given that the Master’s thesis author looks and analysis the Dublin Regulation conformity with the current influx of asylum seekers, including viewing and analyzing possible changes in the Dublin Regulation. Master’s thesis goal is to examine the effectiveness of the Dublin Regulation in the case of asylum seekers influx, as well as possible solutions for the improvement of the Dublin Regulation. Master’s thesis consists of three chapters, which explores Common European asylum system, the Dublin Regulation, the general conditions of the Dublin Regulation and it’s problematic aspects and solutions.
