Darbā tiek veikta mantojuma lietu vešanas analīze. Tajā tiek, pētīts gan mantošanas process, gan ar to saistītie jautājumi. Tāpat tiek apskatītas gan zvērināta notāra, gan mantinieku, legatāru, kreditoru un citu mantojuma lietā iesaistīto personu tiesības un pienākumi mantojuma lietas ietvaros. Darbs ir sadalīts trīs daļās. Pirmajā daļā tiek apskatīta mantojuma lietas uzsākšana. Šajā nodaļā aprakstīti tādi jautājumi, kā mantojuma atklāšanās, mantojuma iesnieguma veidi, to formas un pieteikšanās, termiņa noteikšana, apsvērumus tā noteikšanai, kā arī saīsinātā pieteikšanās termiņa noteikšanas iespējas. Otrajā daļā tie analizētas sekas, kas rodas mantojumu pieņemot un atraidot. Tajā ir pētīti gribas izteikumi par mantojuma pieņemšanu un atraidīšanu, apskatīts testamentārās mantošanas process, apstiprināšana mantojuma tiesībās, kā arī mantojuma pieņemšana faktiskajā valdījumā un tā sekas. Savukārt pēdējā darba nodaļā ir apskatīts Eiropas Savienības regulējums mantojuma lietām, kas zvērinātiem notāriem attiecīgi jāspēj piemērot mantojuma lietu vešanai. Tiek pētīta arī Eiropas mantošanas apliecība un tās nozīme. Darba rakstīšanas procesā autore ir izdarījusi vairākus secinājumus par nepieciešamajiem grozījumiem, lai uzlabotu mantojuma lietas vešanas procesu un padarītu to tiesiskāku un drošāku. This master's thesis is an analysis for the process of settling the issues of inheritance. It presents a research of all issues concerning the process of succession. The Author of this paper has examined all the duties and rights of a sworn notaries, heirs, legatees, creditors and other parties involved in an inheritance case. The Paper has been divided into three chapters. First chapter describes the initiation of an inheritance case. This part covers such issues as discovery of an inheritance, the practices of submitting the inheritance, their outline and application, stipulation of due date and its reasons, as well as possibilities for shortened application due date. The second chapter deals with the consequences that arise from the acceptance or rejection of the inheritance. This part of the research contains the matters of the will for the acceptance or rejection of the inheritance, the process testate succession, approval of inheritance rights and the acceptance of the inheritance into actual acquisition. Finally, the last chapter touches upon the legal framework of European Union Succession Regulations, that sworn notaries must apply to the process of settling inheritance issues by necessity. The Author also inquires into European license of inheritance and its place in the succession process. During the research the Author has made some conclusions on several necessary amendments to improve the succession determination process. These suggestions also aim to make the entire process even more judicial and secure.
