Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma - Malnutrīcijas riska noteikšana pacientiem pēc insulta internajā aprūpē. Tēmas aktualitāti nosaka tas, ka pietiekams uzturs ir nepieciešams, lai vecinātu pacienta atveseļošanos pēc insulta. Malnutrīcija apgrūtina šādu pacientu ārstēšanu, samazinot pacientu imunitātes spēju pretoties infekcijām, palēninot brūču dzīšanu un palielinot komplikāciju risku, kas, savukārt, pagarina pacientu stacionēšanas laiku un palielina šo pacientu letalitāti. Pētījuma mērķis: Analizēt malnutrīciju un noteikt malnutrīcijas risku pacientiem pēc insulta. Pētniecības uzdevumi ir veikt literatūras analīzi par malnutrīciju un insulta pacientu aprūpes īpatnībām, kas saistītas ar uztura uzņemšanu, analizēt V. Hendersones teoriju un tās pielietojumu pētījumā, noteikt malnutrīcijas risku pacientiem pēc insulta ar malnutrīcijas riska noteikšanas testu, veikt iegūto datu apstrādi, kā arī izdarīt secinājumus. Pētniecībā izvirzīta hipotēze - pacientiem pēc insulta ir augsts malnutrīcijas risks. Pētījuma instruments – malnutrīcijas riska noteikšanas tests. Pētniecības metode – kvantitatīvā metode. Pētījumā izvirzītā hipotēze, ka pacientiem pēc insulta ir augsts malnutrīcijas risks, apstiprinājās. Pētījumā iegūto datu analīze liecina, ka ĶMI nav pielietojums kā vienīgais faktors malnutrīcijas riska noteikšanai pacientiem pēc insulta internajā aprūpē, kā arī, ka malnutrīcijas risks ir augstāks pacientiem gados. Iegūtie rezultāti apstiprina, ka NRS 2002 malnutrīcijas skrīninga tests ir piemērots un viegli veicams klīniskajos apstākļos malnutrīcijas riska noteikšanai pacientiem pēc insulta internajā aprūpē. Apkopotie rezultāti un secinājumi attiecināmi uz pētāmo grupu.

The topicality of the subject is determined by the fact that adequate nutrition is necessary to promote patient recovery after a stroke. Malnutrition interferes with the treatment of such patients by impairing the immune function, slowing healing of wounds and increasing the risk of complications therefore also adding to the length of stay and lethality for these patients. Aim of the study: To analyze malnutrition and assess the risk of malnutrition in patients after stroke in intern care. Research objectives are to analyze the literature on malnutrition and the peculiarities of stroke patient care, that are related to nutrition, to analyze the theory of V Henderson and its applicability in the research, to assess the risk of malnutrition in patients after stroke using a malnutrition screening test, to collect and analyze the gained date and to formulate conclusions. Hypothesis – patients after stroke have a high risk of malnutrition. Research tool – malnutrition risk screening test. Research method - quantitative research method. The hypothesis of the study that patients after stroke have a high risk of malnutrition vas confirmed. The analysis of the data gained in the research suggest that BMI cannot be used as the solitary criteria for the risk of malnutrition in patients after stroke in intern care. It also suggests that he risks of malnutrition is higher for patients in old age. The results of the research confirm that NRS 2002 malnutrition screening test is adequate and easy to use in a clinical setting to assess the risk of malnutrition in stroke patients after stroke in intern care. The summarized results and conclusions can be applied to the involved respondents in the study.
