Latvijas Universitātes Sociālo zinātņu fakultātes studenti ERASMUS apmaiņas studijās

Abstract

Darba nosaukums ir „Latvijas Universitātes Sociālo zinātņu fakultātes studenti Erasmus apmaiņas studijās”. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir noskaidrot LU SZF studentu motivāciju un to ietekmējošos faktorus galmērķa izvēlē, lai dotos Erasmus apmaiņas studijās, kā arī noskaidrot sasaisti ar iepriekš veiktajos pētījumos konstatētajām studentu motivācijas tendencēm. Darba autore izvirza pētījuma jautājumu: kāda ir LU SZF studentu motivācija pieteikties Erasmus apmaiņas studiju programmai un kādi faktori ietekmē galamērķa izvēli? Darbā tika analizētas LU SZF studentu, kas bijuši Erasmus apmaiņas studijās, atbildes, kas tika iegūtas ar daļēji strukturēto interviju palīdzību. Empīriskā analīze sastāv no metodoloģijas četrām apakšnodaļām. Apakšnodaļās tiek analizēti faktori, kas ļauj izprast studentu motivāciju doties apmaiņas studijās. Darba beigās sniegti galvenie secinājumi, kur autore secina, ka studentu motivācija doties Erasmus apmaiņas studijās balstās dažādā pieredzē. Studentu izvirzītie mērķi saistās ar personīgo izaugsmi un ārpusstudiju aktivitātēm.

Bachelor’s thesis working title is “Students of University of Latvia Faculty of Social Sciences in Erasmus exchange studies”. The aim of this research was to identify the mobility and destination choice motives of students from University of Latvia Faculty of Social Sciences whom has done their Erasmus exchange studies in period of the new Erasmus+ program (2014- 2020) and link it with previous studies regarding identification of the students' motivation trends. The author puts forward the research question: what is the student motivation to apply for the Erasmus exchange study program and what factors influence the destination of choice? Research included analysis of semi-structured interviews with these students. Empirical methodology consists of four subsections. Sections consists of an analysis of factors which allows to understand the motivation to go on exchange studies. Conclusions are that students’ motivation to go on Erasmus is based on varying experiences. Students motives are related to personal growth and extra-curricular activities.
