Seksuālā orientācija un ievainojamība sociālajā tīklā „Facebook”: mikronaratīvi un lietotāju pieredze

Abstract

Sociālais tīkls Facebook ir pasaulē populārākais sociālais tīkls un pēdējo gadu laikā tā popularitāte ir pieaugusi arī Latvijā, tādēļ ir ļoti svarīgi apzināties dažādus iespējamos riskus, kurus var radīt šī sociālā tīkla izmantošana. Bakalaura darbā pētīta Facebook lietotāju psihosociālā ievainojamība, ņemot vērā seksuālo orientāciju. Aplūkotas vairākas teorētiskās pieejas: izmantota mediju lietojuma un apmierinājuma teorija, mediju un informācijas pratība, izmantojot Džeimsa Edvarda Heringa akronīma PLUS modeli, kā arī Ērvinga Gofmana dramaturģiskā pieeja. Uzmanība tiek vērsta uz kvīru (queer) teoriju, izmantotas Magnusa Hiršfelda, Alfrēda Kinzija un Maikla Storma iestrādnes seksuālo orientāciju pētniecībā, kā arī Gregorija Hereka heteronormativitātes un seksuālo aizspriedumu teorija un traumu pētniecības teorētiskās iestrādnes. Darbā izmantotas gan kvantitatīvās, gan kvalitatīvās pētniecības metodes. Anketēšanā, tiek iegūtas atbildes uz jautājumiem par auditorijas spējām apzināties, sajust konkrēta indivīda ievainojamību un līdzšinējā traumu pieredze. Iegūtie dati tiek statistiski analizēti. Tiek veiktas arī astoņas daļēji strukturētās intervijas ar dažādu seksuālo orientāciju pārstāvjiem, lai atklātu dziļākus ievainojamības aspektus. Šo cilvēku Facebook profiliem veikta kontentanalīze, lai noskaidrotu kādas darbības norisinās šo cilvēku Facebook profilos, un mikronaratīvu analīze Facebook ierakstiem, lai atklātu dziļākus potenciālās ievainojamības aspektus, vēršot uzmanību uz ierakstos pausto attieksmi un to emocionālo nokrāsu.

The social network Facebook is the most popular social network worldwide and its popularity has increased in Latvia in the last years, that is why it is very important to be aware of different possible risks, which can be caused using the social network. Within the bachelor work, the psychosocial vulnerability of the Facebook users was investigated, taking into account the sexual orientation. Several theoretical concept are considered. The use and gratifications theory was applied, as well as the the media and information competence, using the model of the acronym PLUS of James Edward Herring, the dramaturgical concept of Erwing Gofman as well. The attention was paid on queer theory, the experience of Magnus Hirschfeld, Alfred Kinsey and Michael Storm for the research on sexual minorities, as well as the heteronormativity and sexual prejudice theory of Gregory Herek and theoretical approaches concerning the sexual prejudice. Both quantitative and qualitative research methods were used within the work. Applying the questioning, the answers of the target group concerning the abilities of this group to perceive and feel the vulnerability of the certain individuals and the previous trauma experience. The data received are statistically analysed. Eight partly structured interviews with the persons having different sexual orientation was performed, to reveal the deeper vulnerability aspects. The content analysis of the Facebook profiles of these persons was made, to ascertain what kind of activities take place within the Facebook profiles of the mentioned persons, the micro-narrative analysis concerning the Facebook postings as well, to reveal the deeper aspects of the potential vulnerability aspects, paying the attention to the attitude expressed within these postings and their emotional coloring.
