Drāmas teātris padomju un vācu varas gados (1940-1944)

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā „Drāmas teātris padomju un vācu varas gados (1940-1944)” pētīta Latvijas Nacionālā teātra darbība gan padomju, gan vācu okupācijas laikā. Darbā apskatīta teātra priekšvēsture, pirmās padomju okupācijas repertuārs un propaganda, vācu okupācijas laika problēmas un propaganda, kā arī apskatīts otrreizējais padomju okupācijas laika sākums un pārmaiņas. Galvenokārt apskatīta abu totalitāro varu iespaids uz teātra būtību, pastāvēšanas problēmām un sarakstēm ar katras totalitārās varas dibinātajām iestādēm, kuras bija diez gan līdzīgas institūcijas. Darba gaitā secināts, ka teātra māksla Latvijā nav pilnībā izpētīta un izvērtēta. Latvijas Nacionālais teātris (Drāmas un Dramatiskais) kara gados ir piedzīvojis daudz pārmaiņas ne tikai aktieru un personāla sastāvā, bet arī repertuāra, varas un tehniski – vizuālajā stāvoklī.

Bachelor paper titled “Drama Theatre during the Soviet and German Rule (1940-1944)” focuses on activities of the Latvian National Theatre during both – Soviet and German – occupation. The paper includes research on prehistory of the Theatre, repertoire and propaganda during the first Soviet occupation, challenges and propaganda during the German occupation, as well as the beginning and changes during the second Soviet occupation. The paper mainly focuses on the effect of both totalitarian regimes on the essence of the Theatre, as well as difficulties in its operation and correspondence between Theatre and institutions established by each totalitarian regime, which displayed quite many resemblances. The results of the study reveal that theatre in Latvia as such has not been fully researched and evaluated. In wartime the Latvian National Theatre (Drama and Dramatic Theatre) has witnessed changes not only in composition of actors and staff, but also in repertoire, authority and appearance.
