Biopolitika Mišela Fuko un Džordžo Agambena skatījumā: kopīgas perspektīvas meklējumi

Abstract

Šajā darbā tiek apskatītas Mišela Fuko un Džordžo Agambena izpratnes par biopolitikas problemātiku, meklējot kopīgu perspektīvu šo abu autoru skatījumā par to, kas ir biopolitika un kādas ir tās varas attiecības un tehnikas, kas tiek realizētas biopolitikas kontekstā. Šīs kopīgās perspektīvas iezīmēšana balstās Džordžo Agambena un Mišela Fuko darbu interpretācijā, norādot uz līdzīgo, kas atklājas koncentrācijas nometnes, Panoptikona, populācijas pārvaldības un izņēmuma stāvokļa analīzē. Abu autoru biopolitikas koncepciju atklātie kopīgie aspekti ir aktuāli arī mūsdienu kontekstā, tādējādi norādot ne tikai uz vēsturiskā analīzes produktīvajiem aspektiem, bet arī paverot ceļu jaunām perspektīvām mūsdienu varas attiecību analīzes kontekstā.

This paper focuses on Michel Foucault’s and Giorgio Agamben’s conceptions of biopolitics in a search of a common theoretical ground between these two authors about what is biopolitics and what is the nature of power relationships and techniques in the context of biopolitics. A search for a common theoretical framework is based on Foucault’s and Agamben’s interpretation by showcasing similar aspects through analysis of concentration camp, Panopticon, government of population and the notion of state of exception. The common aspects between these two authors are relevant in the context of modern political situation not only in the context of historical analysis. Both authors and their common theoretical framework give rise to new perspectives in the analysis of modern power relations.
