The purpose of the study was to investigate whether there is a relationship between the motives of forgiveness and the perceived stress. The study was attended by 190 respondents: 139 women and 51 men. The early maturity group was matched by age (27 - 35 years) and perceived stress criteria. A motive analysis of forgiveness motives was used to measure the patterns of forgiveness (Cox et al., 2012) and the PSS-4 survey was used to measure perceived stress (Cohen, Kamarck & Mermelstein, 1982) (adapted by Perepelkin, 2014). The research hypothesizes that there is a correlation between the motives of forgiveness and the perceived stress. The results of the study indicate that the motives of forgiveness are related to the perceived stress. Obtain statistically significant correlations between the motives for apostasy of deprivation of religion and alternatives, and the perceived stress, which suggests that the increase in perpetrators' apologies, motives for the deprivation of religion and alternatives increases the perceived stress ratios, and the results confirm the hypothesis suggested, namely, there are correlations between the motives of forgiveness and perceived stress. The results of the study are partly consistent with previous studies, confirming that, when choosing to forgive moral reasons, one experiences less stress, which is consistent with (Dudkina, 2014) and (Cox et al., 2012) research. As a result, it was concluded that the higher the moral and relational motive indicators, the lower the perceived stress indicators. On the other hand, the higher the scores of religion, forgiveness and alternative scorecard, the higher are the perceived stress ratios.
