Antisemītisma diskurss laikrakstā "Latvijas Sargs" 20.gadsimta 20.gados

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma: “Antisemītisma diskurss laikrakstā “Latvijas Sargs” 20.gadsimta 20.gados”. Bakalaura darba mērķis: izpētīt antisemītisma diskursa konstrukciju laikrakstā “Latvijas Sargs” laika periodā no 1920.gadam līdz 1929.gadam. Bakalaura darba teorētiskajā daļā tiek aplūkots diskursa jēdziens, analizēts mediju diskurss kā instruments diskriminācijas veicināšanā, izpētīts antisemītisma jēdziens un tā formas, kā arī apskatīta laikraksta “Latvijas Sargs” vēsture un tā nozīme antisemītisma diskursa paušanā. Metodoloģiskajā daļā izanalizēta kontentanalīze, vēsturiskā diskursa analīze un izstrādāts pētījuma dizains. Empīriskajā daļā veikts pētījums par antisemītisma diskursu laikrakstā “Latvijas Sargs, balstoties uz kontentanalīzi un vēsturisko diskursa analīzi. Bakalaura darba ietvaros konstatēts, ka laikraksta “Latvijas Sargs” publikācijās laika posmā no 1920.gada līdz 1927.gadam identificējamas antisemītisma iezīmes. Izmantojot dažādus mākslinieciskās izteiksmes līdzekļus, ebreji konstruēti izteikti negatīvi. Ebrejiem piedēvēts spekulantu, parazītu, varas kāras tautas tēls.

The theme of the bachelor paper: “The Discourse of Antisemitism in the Newspaper “Latvijas Sargs” in the 20s of the 20th Century.” The objective of the bachelor paper: to study the construction of anti-Semitism discourse in the newspaper “Latvijas Sargs” in the period from 1920 to 1929. The theoretical part of the bachelor paper deals with the concept of discourse, analyzes the media discourse as a tool for promotion of discrimination, discusses the concept and forms of anti-Semitism, as well as examines the history of the newspaper “Latvijas Sargs” and its role in expressing discourse of anti-Semitism. The methodological part includes the content analysis, the analysis of historical discourse and the research design. In the empirical part, a study on the anti-Semitism discourse in the newspaper “Latvijas Sargs” was conducted based on the content analysis and the analysis of historical discourse. Within the framework of the bachelor paper, it has been established that it is possible to identify the features of anti-Semitism in the publications of the newspaper “Latvijas Sargs” during the period from 1920 to 1927. The Jews were displayed in a very negative way by using various artistic expressions. The Jews were attributed to the image of speculators, parasites, and the people eager for power.
